Invites an organization’s stakeholders to construct its future through collaboration, shared understanding, and a commitment to action to achieve positive results. SOAR leverages the Appreciative Inquiry paradigm to shift and amplify the energy and dialogue of stakeholders to what is possible.

This first part of the certification is given in several modules, all in English with Spanish subtitles, and offers participants an opportunity to learn the advances and applications of SOAR at the individual, team, organization, and community level. SOAR, stands for Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, and Results, is a profoundly positive approach to strategic thinking, conversations, planning, and leading. To be fully certified one has to attend this course plus the SOAR Design Workshop.

This training consists of 5 modules to be studied asynchronously and, if you choose, with synchronous sessions to answer questions, complete practice sessions, and delve deeper into the content. You can complete this training on your own via e-learning or with support for your practice sessions and a review of your practice protocols.

To become certified, there is an additional three-hour synchronous session, not included in this package, to explore SOAR Session Design in multiple contexts, organizations, and companies. This SOAR Design Workshop will be held once a year for all interested participants.

Deepen your ability to generate strategic conversations by fostering strategic thinking, planning, and leadership across the entire system with SOAR. This course will strengthen your capacity and skills to have strategic conversations at any level: team, division, and the entire organization or community. From there, you will be able to create strategy and strategic plans using the SOAR methodology.

The lessons are recorded and are in English. Once you register, you’ll be able to access the lesson content. These lessons will take a couple of hours of study per week and can be completed asynchronously and hands-on at your convenience.
